Not seamless is it.....

I suspect it is my inability to have any competence with
regard to I.T. that means closing my old blog and starting a new one
is ...challenging. How embarrassing is that? Nevertheless I will
continue. Of late, I remember the days of being at work and being
tired and busy, and wishing that I was retired and had time to
just...sit....and read...or watch films...and go out and about...see friends....travel....visit exhibitions....galleries.....picnic..... or just
pootle about doing ....not very much at all.
Those times are here.
Be careful what you wish for.

  1. I think you are going to need a Followers gadget as some will ask so they can follow. Go to Design, Layout and add the Gadget for Followers. xx

  5. Greetings from over the Pond. Albeit from someone who does not have a blog, but following over from John's post. Retired a few years ago...happily so. V. long commutes and too much business travel. Helps to be an introvert these days. Not that the US has anything resembling a lockdown like the UK--hence our wicked numbers. I nevertheless stay home but have weekday visits from 6 yr old GS. Helping him with virtual schooling (schools haven't opened here since last March--all online). Guess I retired from one job and now have another. :) Looking forward to your posts.

  7. Hello Libby,

Good to see another blogger returning to Blogland.

We have just had a six year absence....amazing how time flies. And, it is difficult to know why we have returned except that we really missed our blogging chums.

Perhaps these strange and difficult times call out for more of us to reach out and connect. Travelling the world virtually is joyful.

    Welcome back.

    1. Welcome both...thank you for visiting. It is true that
it is difficult to understand why blogging get's under
your skin. My other blog was a place I loved to 'be' for
10 years!....and then my circumstances changed and Life
is now different...strange and difficult times indeed.
I did enjoy reading your blog....welcome back.

I feel you. I can't believe one year ago I wanted to just stay home and chill for a whole day. Now I have to structure my days so carefully I feel my OCD spikes by the minute.
Good luck with the 'new' blog!!

    XOXO

    p.s. John sent me...

  10. I'm pleased to find a new blog, via John. Perhaps if the weather improves we will all feel the sun. I love to be outside either looking for spring bulbs coming through, birds chattering or our local heron ( easily mistaken for a teridactyl) flying over.

  15. I envy you retirees with a pension or savings. I expect to be a bag lady at some point. LOL. Not really. But can't see retirement ever being an option for me; I have to work till I die. Sigh. It is what it is; choices I've made. Worth it. You retirees inspire me anyway and besides, a gal can dream, right?
I look forward to seeing more from you, Libby. John wouldn't steer his readers wrong. No pressure!! LOL
