Hello Travel. I don't think so, the last time I reviewed anything was at school a long long time ago! but I certainly enjoyed this book..it is charming.
Hello..lovely to see you, thanks for calling in. Just like John I have tons of books to read but couldn't seem to get going again..this one has been a lovely gentle read.
I started to read it and couldn't get into it, but that seems to have been true for a great many books I've tried reading this past year. Might have more to do with my attention span. Will give it a again sometime. Meanwhile, like John, there is a huge pile of other books clamouring for attention.
Hi Mary, you know I did the same thing! a friend recommended it so I tried it..couldn't get into it and put it aside..she persuaded me to try again ...and then I 'fell' for it and have really enjoyed it.
Is there a review of the book in the near future?

DeleteIt seems to be a popular book. I have not succumbed. Something makes me think it would not be for me.
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel, I know what you mean as I resisted it even though a couple of friends had recommended it...but I am glad I eventually gave it a go.

DeleteI liked it, too, once I accepted the idea that I was never going to get out of that hotel. And one of those characters that stay with you.
